                  Coach House Cottage Marazion

Marazion offers two of the safest beaches in Cornwall, one where children can spend many happy hours in and around the rocks and pools can be reached directly from Leys Lane and another large sandy beach, ideal for swimming, sunbathing, kitesurfing and windsurfing is just a few minutes walk away.

There is also an excellent children's playground alongside the Beach.

Within easy walking distance there are local shops, a Post Office, Art Galleries, Pubs and restaurants. Also within Marazion there is the Mount's Bay Sailing Club, the Mount's Bay Pilot Gig Boat Club as well as a windsurfing club all of which hold regular championships. Further afield there are facilities for golf, horse riding, sea fishing and of course you can visit the lovely Isles of Scilly by boat, plane or helicopter. A more leisurely pastime could be bird watching on the nearby Estuary or Marshes.

Places to visit include; Penzance, St Ives and Mousehole. If you like coastal paths, there are many walks to peaceful coves and beaches. The Eden Project and The Lost Gardens of Heligan are approx 1 hours drive away.

On the way to Penzance there are Morrisons and Tesco Supermarkets.

At the top of Leys Lane is a Bus route which gives you easy access to Helston, Falmouth and Porthleven to the east and Penzance, Mousehole and St Ives to the west.

Lands End now has much more to offer in addition to its natural beauty. The Minack Open Air Theatre, actually built among the rocks at Porthcurno, the Triple Theme Park at Helston and the Jubilee Open Air Swimming Pool recently renovated and opened in Penzance, are just a few of the places to visit and enjoy whilst in the area.
